Healing the Mind, Body and Spirit:
A Wellness
Retreat for Older Adults and/or Their Caregivers
A three day overnight retreat held at the Center of Renewal at Stella
Niagara
Fee: $170
includes two nights accommodations, meals, all materials and instruction
(A covered benefit of BlueCross BlueShield of Western New
York's Alive and Lively Program - No charge)
This
senior-caregiver wellness retreat will review and expand upon the community
workshops, described above. In
addition, many new learning topics are presented, including:

Improving
the mind-body relationship through the use of biofeedback, meditation,
relaxation, prayer and/or breathing exercises

Using
exercise and nutrition to improve mind-body-spirit health
·
Using
community resources to improving mind-body-spirit health
·
Using
art, music, biofeedback and nature to improve mind-body-spirit health
