The Caregiver's Satisfaction Guide

Improving the Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Health of Elders and Caregivers

If you're an older adult - or just someone who cares  - this book is for you.  It contains:

  • Warning Signs and Care Questions for over 90 percent of elder health problems.

  • Tools to understand and monitor the elder's care plan - even from miles away.

  • Skills caregivers can use to reduce their own stress, plus

  • Contact information for 33 national organizations offering free help for caregivers

The Guide was written by Dr. Tom DeLoughry and is available, without charge,

to participants attending the Aging Well workshops and retreats.

The suggestions for “improving spiritual health” are non-denominational and support guidelines from the Joint Commission on Healthcare Accreditation.

The accompanying manual Improving Satisfaction and the Quality of Eldercare - and related training programs for professionals who provide medical, emotional or spiritual care - are available through the Niagara Caregivers Network or the Center for Health Management
